#DRIVE

It’s involuntary, we start yawning a little when we hear about a new car game for smartphones. That’s mainly because of the vast production of clones, of clones of more clones that are already out in the market. But, there’s always room for a little surprise and #DRIVE has earned a spot in hour list with its super entertaining arcade approach. You get to drive to infinity in this game that includes a simple gameplay that’s difficult to master: you have to make sure you don’t run out of gas and that the damages don’t destroy your car. LifeAfter

To talk about LifeAfter is to talk about the most ambitious survival game that has reached the shores of this mobile source. A technical prodigy that gives you the freedom to do thousands of actions in the midst of a zombie catastrophe where your mission is to survive. Yup, zombies again. Although we learned about it in 2018, it was actually this year when we entered the struggle. Truly an online wonder. [Download]

Another Eden

We’re fully aware that we can be really annoying, but here it goes again: we’re living in a golden age as far as role-playing games go. Smartphones have been the destination of this legendary genre and we’re so thankful. Although there are some pretty iffy games out there, there are other games that definitely deserve some love. Yeah, Another Eden is definitely in that second category thanks to its resemblance to true classics such as Chrono Trigger. Cyber Hunter

Last year we witnessed the explosion that was the Battle Royales and in 2019 we’re celebrating its establishment as a popular genre. Rangers of Oblivion

It’s pretty common to find games that take after others to find a style of game. Although this is pretty common for iOS and Android games, it’s pretty common in the interactive entertainment world in general. Monster Hunger serves as a clear landmark for Rangers of Oblivion, although GTArcade’s masterpiece has known how to include MMORPG elements to keep it fresh. Let the hunt begin with this spectacular videogame. [Download]

Rebel Inc.

Strategy radically changed its direction with the launch of Plague Inc., a game where your mission is to eradicate humanity. The last game that the incredible Ndemic Creations launched was a little gentler, but not by much: Rebel Inc. is a politic/military simulator where you have to stabilize a country after a war. A video game where each round is different than the las and includes a depth that’s difficult to find for smartphones. [Download]

Magia: Charma Saga

Eternal glory to Action RPGs and the beauty that is called Magia: Charma Saga, an incredible game in every sense of the world. It sounds grandiose, but it’s difficult to find a game that’s as complete in every section. It’s a real shame that the developer of the game has stopped, although NEXON promised that we’ll have news about the new version very soon. We’ll anxiously wait in the meantime.  [Download]

2019 has been the year of the bow and arrow, the protagonists in Archero, one of the surprises during this period of time. A roguelite that’s halfway between The Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne where you’ll face unending missions until you’re defeated…and then you get to start all over again. This is a true gem with simple visuals but includes a playability that’s bombproof. Well done. [Download]

Super Mecha Champions

To not applaud to more Battle Royale games would be a sin since this is the year for the genre. That something more can be found in Super Mecha Champions, a Battle Royale that puts you right in an Evangelion episode. We’re talking about an anime game that includes giant robots. What else could you possibly want? [Download]
