A recap of the best of the best games that were made available on Android in June. All high-quality titles, among which you'll find the one and only ARK: Survival Evolved.

The month of June is coming to an end so it’s time to discover which are the best games that were brought into the world of Android this month. At the risk of sounding repetitious, June has definitely been own of the most impressive months so far this year. A good part of that is thanks to the dinosaur game on this list, but there are also other outstanding titles that we’ll talk about. It was hard to choose only 10, but without further ado, we leave you with the best Android games released in June 2018.

Stickman Soccer 2018

In a month when the 2018 World Cup is being held, it was impossible not to choose at least one soccer game. Stickman Soccer 2018 may seem like a basic game at first glance. But don’t let its cartoon looks fool you: this game featuring stick figure soccer players actually offers a frenzied gameplay that’s sure to immerse you in the exciting international showdowns. It’s a fact that it’d be hard to find a game from the Stickman franchise that disappoints. [Download]

ChickenPOP!

Who knows if it was the chicken or the egg that came first…all we know is that ChickenPOP! has been a pleasant surprise. The graphics don’t exactly shout “high-quality game,” but it’s actually incredibly easy to get hooked with its fool-proof gameplay: tap the screen where you want to place a bubble for your chicken to bounce off it and continue its climb through the skies. It’s a game that’s full of surprises and actually reminds us of the successful Flappy Bird. [Download]

We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs

Cartoon Network is really stepping it up in terms of games for mobile devices. We keep seeing more and more games based on their popular animated series and in We Bare Bears Match3 Repairs we’ve found an excellent puzzle game. It’s not exactly reinventing the wheel or anything (it basically mirrors the concepts from Gardenscapes and Homescapes), but at least they’ve managed to give it a charisma that tends to be lacking in games like this. If only for the fun scenes between the We Bare Bears characters between puzzles, it’s worth playing. [Download]

Silly Walks

It’s kind of exciting to discover a game that breaks the mold. It’s so rare that this happens that it almost makes us shed a tear of delight when we find a release like this one. Silly Walks intends to take its place of honor in the mobile catalog thanks to its pleasant graphics and gameplay that you don’t see everyday: you move around 3D settings by tapping the screen so that your character moves a leg and rotates on its own axis. It’s impossible not to be fascinated by this concept. [Download]

Westworld

The success of the HBO series about a Wild West-themed park where not everything is as it seems has led to this official videogame. Westworld stands out right away for its carefully designed graphics that tone down the seriousness of the series and gives us an experience that’s much more fun. It’s a strategic management game where you have to pair up guests at the park with the right hosts to make sure they keep progressing and make the park as good as can be. It sounds a lot like Fallout Shelter, but it’s not. [Download]

Knights Chronicle

What would a month of the year be without at least one high-quality RPG? Obviously, we’re huge fans of this genre, but we don’t want to pack this list with only RPGs. However, Knights Chronicle deserves all our attention because it’s a mega-production of turn-based combat. Not only does it have spectacular graphics – its combat system is also outstanding. It’s hard to enjoy all these RPGs that arrive on Android, but Knights Chronicle is one of those games that we can’t put down. [Download]

Eden Obscura

Following the one and only PixelJunk Eden, Eden Obsucra has landed on mobile devices to continue with its one of a kind style. It’s a game that seems limited at first, but grows leaps and bounds as you play. If you’re tired of games where killing is key, Eden Obscura lets you grow beautiful gardens full of color. Best of all, it makes use of the rear camera on your device to offer interesting light effects based on your physical surroundings. [Download]

Creative Destruction

While plenty of us are already enjoying the smartphone and tablet version of PUBG, it seems like Fortnite is resisting being made available on Android. This never-ending delay has led to tons of clones and Creative Destruction is the best one we’ve found. It’s a game that basically mirrors the Fortnite experience, but this is a typical practice on mobile devices. Creative Destruction is a fantastic alternative to Fortnite, especially when the game from Epic still hasn’t made its appearance on Android. [Download]

Mercs of Boom

If you like turn-based RPGs, then Mercs of Boom is going to call your device home for a long time. We’ve already talked about how it’s an excellent title, despite blatantly copying the new XCOM. Hours and hours of fun await you as you take down each and every enemy that dares to cross your path on these mapped squares. [Download]

ARK: Survival Evolved

We’re talking about one of the most anxiously-awaited game that we’ve been waiting for for over a year, during which we’ve seen a long list of clones that stole its ideas. ARK: Survival Evolved is finally here and it offers us a very similar experience to what we can find in the original game. But of course, in this case it’s free and its graphics take the mobile game to a whole other level. If you don’t know how to get started, read our guide to playing ARK and get the most out of your game experience. [Download]
