The clock is ticking for the final release of Warzone Mobile, the new mobile battle royale developed by Activision. But before its official release in 2023, there’s already plenty to celebrate, like the regional beta versions around the world that are perfect for getting sneak peeks at the game before its final version is made available. We’re going to tell you everything we know about the upcoming betas of this new Call of Duty for smartphones.

What is Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile?

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a mobile version of the popular battle royale from Activision’s hit shooting saga. In it, you’ll participate in enormous multiplayer battles where only the best can survive as the map gets smaller and smaller. It’s not the same as the existing Call of Duty: Mobile and players will also be able to transfer their progress and content from the big installments of the saga for computers and consoles.

When will Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile be available?

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is currently in a limited-release phase. What does this mean? Basically, it means that the game’s developers have already made it available in certain regions. Now, the only countries where the game can be played are Australia and Sweden. However, they’ve promised that the game will be available in other regions very soon, specifically in countries in Europe and Latin America.

Will there be open betas of Warzone Mobile any time soon?

Access to the game is completely free and open in the regions where it’s available and will continue to be when it reaches new areas. This means there will be open betas of Warzone Mobile in new countries soon. The downside is that we still need to find out when these international tests will occur, so we can only wait for Activision to officially announce the release.

The good news is that the developer intends for the final launch, which will take place after all the regional betas, to happen sometime in 2023. This means that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will have several testing phases throughout this year in the remaining markets where it still needs to be made available. We just have to be patient and wait for official news.

Can I play Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile even if it isn’t available in my region?

When companies decide to release their mobile games in phases, it’s usually so that they can perform controlled tests related to servers, connection, and content. In the case of Warzone Mobile, the truth is that it’s already possible to play its trial version if you download its APK for free and use a VPN to change the location of your phone’s connection point. However, this isn’t the most advisable thing to do, bearing in mind that the game’s quality won’t be optimal and that the time zone will probably be very different from your own.

Added: Nevertheless, if your impatience gets the better of you and you’re not satisfied with any other alternative to Warzone Mobile, remember that your phone needs to meet some minimum requirements to run this battle royale:

  • Apple: iPhone 8+ or higher and 4 GB RAM or more
  • Android: Adreno 618 or higher and 6 GB RAM or more

How do I know if Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is available in my region?

Currently, Warzone Mobile is only available in Australia and Sweden, but as it will gradually reach new countries, it’s important to know how to keep up to date with new open betas of the game. To do this, it’s not only useful to follow the game’s account on its various social networks but also to fill out the pre-registration form available on the official website and even from the game’s home menu. This way, not only will you receive a notification when the game is available in your country, but you’ll also get extra rewards.
