Stumble Guys, the successful battle royale from Kitka Games, is constantly receiving new updates as it grows in popularity. Every once in a while, the developers release extra content for the game, like skins, modes, footstep effects and more. This gives us a good feeling about the future of the project, which seems to currently be experiencing its finest moment. That’s why we want to share what new features we’d like to see in Stumble Guys in 2023.

What is Stumble Guys?

For those who are unfamiliar with the title, Stumble Guys is a fun battle royale where you control a customizable avatar while going up against other players in obstacle courses and races. The goal is to reach the finish line in each round, as those who don’t make it won’t move on to the next one. In the end, only one player can win and whoever does so will get rewards that will allow them to obtain new outfits and cosmetic elements to customize their Stumbler.

New features we’d like to see in Stumble Guys in 2023

Stumble Guys updates are becoming more regular and are constantly introducing more ambitious content. It didn’t use to be like that: the battle royale from Kitka Games was a much simpler game only a few months ago, but the support of the community and the success it’s experiencing have made it possible to think big for the game’s future content. That’s why we hope it continues to do so well that it can implement the following new features in 2023:

New maps

Of course, the first thing any player would wish to see in Stumble Guys is some new maps. There are quite a few already, but they’re already too familiar to players who play the battle royale daily. There are good recent examples of how new Stumble Guys maps should be added: the Hot Wheels racetracks are a good example of what the game should do, taking advantage of collaborations to design new challenges (although we’d also settle for themed adaptations of maps we already know).

New skins (with partnerships!)

Another one of the great things that come with each new update is the skins. It’s true that there are already tons of outfits and that, in fact, many more are added with each major patch. However, we’d like to ask Stumble Guys to finally take advantage of its possibilities to collaborate with great sagas and well-known licenses. So far, all the skins in the game are versions or adaptations of characters from pop culture, so we’d like to see official costumes instead of just ones that are “inspired by” other characters. We know it’s difficult, but Kitka Games has already collaborated with some brands (like Hot Wheels, as seen above) and hey, dreaming is free!

New emoticons

This one is really a must-have. We’ve been stuck with the same action emoticons for a long, long time. The kick, the hug, and the punch, actions you need to earn (they’re not available from the beginning), just aren’t enough anymore. The rounds in Stumble Guys are more dynamic and fun when you have new alternative effects that change the rules and lead to unique situations. So why not reinforce that with new action emoticons? We’re thinking longer jumps, more speed, the ability to collaborate with other players… There are tons of possible options, although we understand it’s a difficult change to implement overnight.

New game modes and features

Lastly, as long as we’re dreaming big, we’d love for Stumble Guys to add new game modes to the ones we already know. Imagine what a new type of tournament would be like, not only based on completing challenges, or even more creative modes, like a sandbox mode, a level editor or a training mode where players could work on their technique. It also wouldn’t be a bad idea to consider more social features, like rooms to join with your friends just for the sake of being there, without competing, or the possibility of creating clans. Now that Stumble Guys allows you to add friends, it seems that they might be thinking of going even further in that direction.
