Critical Ops, also known by many as a mobile Counter-Strike, is a first-person action shooter where you’ll experience dramatic games in which terrorists aim to win by trying to defeat the anti-terrorist force.

And as usual in mobile titles, there is always the option to get in-game currency. Here it is called credits, and with them you’ll be able to customize your weapons to look incredible. As we always do at Uptodown, in this post we’re going to explain how to get these credits for free.

What is Critical Ops?

Critical Ops is a first-person shooter exclusively designed for mobile devices. It’s played in two opposing teams: terrorists against counter-terrorists. The game takes place in urban settings, so it is not surprising that the title is strongly reminiscent of Counter-Strike.

In fact, it is essentially the same: the terrorists must plant the bomb and the counter-terrorists must either defend their positions or defuse the explosive. Some maps are heavily inspired by Valve’s title.

With a fast and competitive gameplay, the game has everything you would expect from a mobile title: battle pass, coins to buy loot cases and the usual paraphernalia of these titles.

This is one of the most popular titles on the market, with a huge community behind it, supporting it and generating a large amount of content and communities about it.

Can Critical Ops be played for free?

The answer is simple: Yes, Critical Ops is a free game that can be downloaded and played on virtually any mobile device.

It does, however, include in-app purchases that allow players to customize their gaming experience with skins and other aesthetic items. For this, there are two currencies, although the one we are focusing on today is credits, the most useful of them all.

Critical Ops credits: how many are there, how to get them and what are they for?

Actually, credits in Critical Ops are not excessively necessary at the beginning. However, due to the game’s characteristics, they eventually become quite essential if you want to progress not only in terms of content but also of aesthetics.

What are Critical Ops credits for?

The use of credits is generally aesthetic, although you can also buy modifiers and other coin types. Thus, the main purpose of credits is buying loot cases to unlock aesthetic items.

As a rule of thumb, your character’s looks will be quite bland. That’s what these items are for: to tweak our gear and give it a touch of color.

Still, if after unboxing one of those cases you get a customization item that you already had, it will turn into blue coins that you can spend to buy other items from the store.

How much do Critical Ops credits cost?

Depending on the amount of money you want to invest in Critical Ops, you can choose one credit box or another. This is the complete list:

  • 240 credits: €1.49
  • 620 credits: €3.74
  • 1,400 credits: €7.49
  • 3,080 credits: €14.99
  • 10,000 credits: €36.99
  • 22,500 credits: €74.99

How to get free credits in Critical Ops

Getting credits in Critical Ops is quite simple, and there are many ways to do it. It’s worth noting, though, that the amount you’ll get is quite short. Below are the main ways to get this precious in-game currency.

  • By completing the battler pass: as usual, this game includes a built-in battle pass system that you can complete as you win. Thus, you won’t only unlock credits but also an endless array of interesting features, like graffiti sprays or weapons.
  • By watching ads: just like that. By watching different ads throughout the day, you’ll be able to get credits that you can later invest in cases. A great benefit.
  • By completing achievements: by doing so as a player, you’ll be rewarded with coins to buy the precious loot cases.
  • By leveraging temporary offers or spining the wheel: this game features a wheel with which you can win a random amount of credits per day. There are also offers that will grant you certain credits during special holidays or sales.
