A few months back we talked about how the Supercell factory had created a new money-making machine with the release of Brawl Stars. Just like Sensor Tower mentioned, their latest success has surpassed the 200 million dollars in player spending. Maybe that’s why the game’s developers are not about to waste any time and continue releasing updates. This last update “retroadapted” the maps and introduced Bibi. She’s the new brawler who’s sure to be the object of desire of those who play the game regularly.
Meet Bibi, the brawler who bats non-stop
The new character in Brawl Star stands out because of her balanced statistics. This rogue-looking girl and her plentiful bangs carry around a baseball bat that won’t surrender to any of her enemies. Bibi moves her powerful weapon around to strike any enemy that dares to stand in her way and her main attack includes three strikes. And her enemies better watch out when she uses her super attack because she’ll throw a giant bubble of gum that’ll bounce and go through rivals repeatedly. All you need is one round to realize the enormous potential that this attack has over the rest of the players. The fact that the bubbles bounce time and time again, mainly inside closed maps, makes sure that you get rid of some of your enemies while you destroy some other ones with your bat.
You’ll also quickly figure out Bibi’s stellar power. We’re talking about a Home Run that speeds up her moves. Just keep in mind that you can only perform this power when the yellow bar is completely full. Another added bonus is that the recharging time is not super long if you compare it to the damage you can inflict. If you sum up all of Bibi’s potential offensive power, then you’ll realize that she’s a really interesting option. However, like most other epic characters, this one will also cost a bunch of gems.
Submerge yourself inside the new Retropolis
Yet another key aspect of the new Brawl Stars update is the makeover given to some of the maps. Besides getting rid of well-known settings, Supercell created the so-called Retropolis. It’s neon colors and elements evoke each battlefield to the past. You can even enjoy super entertaining trampolines that’ll bounce you off into the enemy zone.

Changes to the rest of the characters
A bunch of other brawlers also got statistic makeovers. Some of the changes have been suggested by the players themselves based on their experiences. This basically shows that Supercell makes an effort to make their player community happy. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to keep those who maintain the game’s progression going in the market happy.
Rosa is nerfed once again
Rosa has been one of the most controversial brawlers since the very beginning. This character was definitely hard to beat inside the battlefield. That’s why Supercell decided to modify her statistics again and balance things out:
- Rosa’s superpower now lasts 3 seconds.
- You need 10 strikes to recharge the power, instead of the former nine.
- Her stellar power earns her 200 life points per second, instead of 300.
- The area of the map where her attack originates is more visible inside the map.
Carl and Frank have also been balanced out
Carl and Frank have also witnessed their statistics changing. Carl was modified to increase his offensive potential inside each round:
- He can pre-aim his main attack while he executes his superpower.
- The waiting time in between each throw was decreased.
As far as Frank goes, you’ll only notice one noteworthy adjustment. If he ever finds himself in trouble, this brawler can disable the rival’s base while his superpower lasts. This feature couldn’t be done with this monstrous character’s previous statistics.
It’s not just about the aesthetics
This new update offers Brawl Stars players a retro look in a bunch of maps. But the changes go beyond just aesthetics. The release of a new brawler like Bibi and the statistic changes of other characters are sure to delight players. It’s clear to see that Supercell puts the time and effort to pamper their brand new success. It seems like there’s a bright future ahead for this new release.
