Ragnarok M: Eternal Love

The agonizing soft-launch of Ragnarok M has kept us on the edge of our seats as it was released progressively on an international level. Those who associate the quality of a game’s graphics with its ability to entertain or the intelligence of its concept, have no idea about videogames. Each month we get a new promising app that presents itself as a sort of second coming that will put an end to the reign of Fornite and PUBG Mobile. We don’t know if Cyber Hunter will finally be the one to do so, but it certainly has earned its place as one of the best Battle Royales that you can find on Android at the moment. 100 players on an island where only one can be left standing. Disney Epic Quest

Given that Disney already encompasses the immense majority of entertainment sources, it’s normal that they’d take advantage of this monopoly by combining some of the brands they already have. Following in the footsteps of the recent Kingdom Hearts 3, Disney Epic Quest offers an unlikely reunion of heroes including Jack Sparrow, Mickey Mouse, and Wreck-It Ralph. SEGA’s maneuvering is commendable to say the least. They’ve put together an A-team of people like Koji Igarashi (producer of the Castlevania saga in Konami) and pulled off a MOBA along the same lines as Clash Royale featuring fantasy characters like Cinderella and Snow White. Its great designs and graphics the company is known for, along with the depth of its proposal (a single player in an Android MOBA?), make this game diamond in the rough. [Download]

Rangers of Oblivion

Although some titles based on the Monster Hunter saga already existed for Android (official or not), none of them have been able to successfully bring the experience to the mobile world as well as Rangers of Oblivion has. Although restricted on a concept level as a Free-to-Play MMORPG, the mechanics take a lot of inspiration from the Capcom titles, having you face gigantic monsters and craft materials to get better equipment. Throwing Squad

With all the real-time strategy games that exist on Android, it can be hard to innovate. In certain ways, Throwing Squad is reminiscent of Nintendo gems like Pikmin or The Wonderful 101. You don’t control a single character, but instead a small crowd whose attacks are based on their capacity to launch any element in the setting at the enemies. El Chronicle

Here’s a small gem that still hasn’t reached the west yet, but recently released a new version in English that can be played without any geographic restrictions. The adorable 3D graphics look like they were taken out of some big modern RPG for handheld consoles. The hardest thing about being a good DJ isn’t creating good mixes, but knowing what songs to play for the crowd in front of you. This is the idea that MIXMSTR is based on. Through a simple minigame, it has you playing songs associated to a color in order to please the club-goers who are dancing in front of you, who are also dressed with a specific color code. Langrisser Mobile

Fans of JRPGs with turn-based strategy will surely be familiar with the saga Langrisser given its long career on consoles, spanning over two decades.
