Mobile games are becoming more and more popular among the general public. It’s not exactly a surprise considering that it’s one of the major concerns when buying a new phone. In fact, more and more people are choosing phones and peripherals designed specifically for gaming.
That’s why we’re here today: to tell you what we believe are going to be the best new mobile games on the market this year. We know for a fact that 2023 is going to be loaded with amazing titles by the likes of Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, VALORANT Mobile, the new Star Wars Battle Royale, and even Rainbow Six has a new game to offer mobile players.
Keep reading to find out more about these upcoming bombshells.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile
Let’s face it, the most anticipated game this year is, without a doubt, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. We already know the game is going to be a hit before it even comes out, and no wonder, as it promises to be just as awesome as the desktop version.
In one of the best mobile games of 2023, you’ll travel back to the Verdansk map to face tons of rivals with the goal of being the last team standing. The game promises to bring back the vibrant gunplay of this legendary map.
In addition, the content that you unlock in the desktop version will be transferred to the mobile version, so there will be cross-content but not cross-play.
We’ve recently talked about this title’s highlights and everything we’re hoping to see in it. But things don’t stop there, because if you register before the game is officially released, you can enter the beta and receive exclusive content such as weapons, designs or even a new map.
Star Wars Hunters
Yes, you read that right, Star Wars is planning to release a hero shooter for mobile devices and Switch. It goes without saying that this is clearly one of the most anticipated titles of this year. It’s expected to have impressive visuals with incredibly beautiful graphics and a style that’s a mix between cartoon aesthetics and all the charisma of the Star Wars franchise. In short, it’s expected to be one of the best mobile games on the market.
- It’s set to be released sometime in 2023, although rumors suggest a date as early as February. It’s not for sure, as mobile games usually go through a testing phase, gradually opening up to more and more countries over time.
- You’ll be able to play alongside Jedis, Siths, Trade Federation droids and even Wookiees.
VALORANT Mobile
Not much can be said about one of the shooters that’s currently dominating the market: VALORANT. We’re talking about the big hit from Riot Games that set out to knock CS:GO off its podium. However, although it hasn’t actually managed to surpass it, it does have a solid player base and competitive play. As a result, this hero shooter offers the same essence as some of the most important games in the world of first-person shooters.
It’s obvious that this is going to be at the top of the mobile game’s rankings this year.
- The release date is still unknown, but it looks like it might come out around the 2-year anniversary of the game’s desktop version.
Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade
If the Assassin’s Creed saga is famous for one thing, it’s for its brilliant settings and the historical rigor in its development. It’s not because they’re historical games, but rather because the settings are usually genuine and very well-documented.
This time you’ll be transported to the China of the Mongol invasions or Xiongnu, where you’ll play an assassin who will have to fight against the Templars in the pearl of Asia.
It’s no wonder that it’s one of the most highly-anticipated mobile games of the year.
RainbowSix Mobile: mobile gaming enters the competitive world in a big way
RainbowSix Mobile is a competitive multiplayer title that seeks to replicate the success of Rainbow Six Siege on the small screen.
Thus, what we have here is a title with incredibly profound gameplay mechanics while seeking to overcome the tactile barrier to capture all the aspects of an online shooter: perfect for competitive players, amateurs and anyone who’s looking for something more tactical and confined than the titles we’re used to seeing.
It’s not yet known when it will be released, but you can already register for the closed beta.
