Dropbox version 2.0 for iOS has been available for several days now. They have given special attention in this new version of the app to renovating the interface – now donning a minimalist concept – and to introducing new improvements for uploading photos.
Today, cloud storage services are tremendously popular, and Dropbox, which was one of the pioneers in the industry, continues to be one of the most famous services in the world. It has the most users, and a reputation for being dependable and secure.
There are also other cloud storage services, such as Google Drive and SkyDrive, which have proven to be really useful, for both backing up data and syncing user devices such as PCs, tablets, and smartphones. But Dropbox still offers a high-quality service that allows it to compete with the products just mentioned, which are backed by the Internet giants Google and Microsoft.
This update for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch includes a substantial modification of the interface, opting for simplicity, and leaving behind redundant elements, such as text labels, in search of a simple appearance that follows the latest trend among apps for mobile devices.
Regarding its functionality, the new Dropbox design for iOS allows you to view the photos and videos you’ve uploaded to your cloud storage as if it were a timeline. There is a section included titled “Photos,” in which you can view a gallery of photos that were uploaded by other users. Also, new features and important upgrades have been added that make the automatic upload of photos to your cloud storage even easier.
They have also improved the way you share photos and video on social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, and via iMessage, Apple’s instant messaging service.
This update to version 2.0 of Dropbox for iOS promises improved basic features, and, above all, a modern design.
