The world’s biggest tech giants are gearing up to do battle with each other this year, with many manufacturers releasing their most powerful devices yet. The likes of HTC and Nokia are set for big things, with several great-looking smartphones due to be released throughout the year. But in the world of mobile devices, it is Samsung and Apple that are the two heavyweights. They are the ones to beat, and have been trying to beat each other for a long time now. Of course, the two will be going head-to-head in the smartphone market with some new releases this year.
iPad 3 vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 will present a comparison of fun, because here you will find the strength or specificacy of Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6, which until now has not been present in the market. And this time we compare two of the most exciting prospects tablet of 2012 – speculative. But that who will come out as winner’s iPad 3 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6, we do not know if we are not comparing both of these phones. And remember, these comparisons are based on rumors.
The iPad 3′s form factor has been the subject of fairly intense debate online. On the one hand, you have the camp which says it will be a highly distinctive complete worthy of the new iPad 3 label. We also heard extensive reports about it being 1mm thicker as well. Other external changes are supposed to be minimal, prompting some commentators to brand as 2S iPad. Based on these claims some case manufacturers in China have even begun production of slightly thicker cases for the ‘iPad 2S’.This is a tough call to make, but we tend to believe the reports of those who’ve actually been to see Apple and have hands-on with the device, and the report shows it’s not a big change in terms of visual design. Reports of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 suggest that, despite its larger 11.6-inch touchscreen it will not, in fact, be much bigger than the existent Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Each of these phones will have 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants. Maybe we would be surprised if the iPad 3 has a micro SD card storage but it seems Samsung Galaxy Tab will – up to 32GB is a fair bet. In terms of RAM, iPad 2 has 512MB while the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is twice this at 1GB. Samsung 11.6-inch tablet will reportedly use a dual core ARM Cortex-A15 processor 2GHz clock, featuring Samsung’s own Exynos generation chipset and the latest 5250-T604 ARM Mali graphics processing unit (GPU).
We think the likelihood is that Samsung will win this as it will keep the internal storage on a competitive level offering card storage the iPad will lack and likely more RAM than Apple’s device will bring too. Samsung may, or may not announce the price and the exact release date of the 11.6 tablet, but it’s worth pointing out that the trend right now is “inexpensiveness” after the massive growth of Amazon’s tablet market share courtesy of the $200 Amazon Kindle Fire.
What about the autonomy of the Samsung tablets.
I hope to see soon a new version of Amazon Kindle Fire.
I the efforts you have put in this, thank you for all the great content.
