Until now the successful photo editor Retrica was only available for iOS terminals, but recently it has also been launched for Android. This is an interesting free app that allows you to take self-portraits using your phone’s front camera and apply all sorts of effects and filters so you can then share them on your social networks.
Retrica for Android (2.2 and up) is a very comprehensive free tool for photo editing, offering all you need to take a good selfie, applying filters in real time to view how the photo will turn out before you post it directly on Twitter or Facebook.
The app’s capture process and after-shot editing is quite reminiscent of Instagram, with the difference that it has a total of 80 retro filters and 22 types of collages where you can take up to nine consecutive snapshots to create your composition. In addition, if you want to get 25 exclusive effects and get rid of the ads you can do so by forking out €1,45.
Retrica lets you make all sorts of image edits: artificial fade, captions, personalized frames, watermarks, and a timer so you can prepare for a few seconds before snapping the pic.
Thanks to its minimalist interface, the app is very easy to handle, you just have to open the program to take photos and edit them straightaway to share with your friends in just a few clicks.
