This is the third year that Google has highlighted the Android apps that stand out for their Material Design interface and this time four apps have been lucky enough to make off with awardw. Each of the prizewinners stands out for specific aspects of its UI design, but it’s clear that all of them are of high enough quality to distinguish themselves in the 2017 Material Design Awards.
In this year’s contest, in its third edition, the voting system was a bit different from normal: Google has allowed the Android community to vote for their favorite apps. The prizewinners, besides getting their due share of the limelight, can travel to Pittsburgh to participate in SPAN, Google’s own design, tech, and research conference.
