Since January 2015, the web version of WhatsApp has been available, which lets you use the instant messaging service via your web browser regardless of the computer you’re using. Even though it works great, it doesn’t include all of the options of the official app. However, recently, it’s been updated to include a few essential features such as the ability to manage groups and edit your profile.
Now, by clicking on your profile photo, you can access the profile and status section where you can change your photo by uploading a picture from your computer. Plus, you can change your status or add a personal phrase.
Another great addition is the possibility to modify the notification settings for chats and group conversations. By opening the menu, you can now silence, archive, or leave a group or individual conversation.
