Next we’re going to complain about these apps being too heavy. Facebook Messenger has been meteoric in its trajectory to differentiate itself from WhatsApp with internal plugins that expand its features. The latest update to the official client for iOS and Android adds one of the most interesting so far to this array: now you can embed Spotify songs in your Facebook chats.
To do so you have to download the latest available version of the client (v60.0.0.24.70) and press the ellipsis button inside a chat to access the list of plugins, where you’ll now find Spotify. Once you activate the add-on you can search songs and get a list of matching results. Pick one and it will appear in your chat alongside the image of the cover of the album or song in question.
