Choosing between one tool and another can be tricky. But when a single tool integrates two different utilities the best option becomes clear. This is the case when it comes to cloud based storage systems where its even more necessary to prioritize easy and comfortable access so that using and retrieving what you need is simple. With this in mind, DropBox took a huge leap forward when integrating itself into Facebook Messenger, allowing users to send files directly from there through their smartphones.
In order for this update to run properly, you have to install the latest version of both official apps, specifically Facebook Messenger 188.8.131.52.59 and DropBox 6.2.4. To access this option, you have to open a chat within the instant messaging service and open up the options in the lower bar where you can share files by touching the “…” marks. From there, you’ll see all of the additional apps for Messenger, the link for accesing your Dropbox folder from which you can send any file.
There is no limit when it comes to file format. You can send anything you want as long as DropBox allows. Even if you’re sending multimedia content you’ll be able to play it directly from the chat box instead of having to use an external application.
