Not FIFA. Not PES. The most downloaded Android soccer game on Uptodown is Dream League Soccer. The title from First Touch Games has earned its popularity fair and square, offering a soccer simulator for Android that’s just as good as the two big dogs in the genre. Starting today, the new 2019 update is available which, in addition to updating the teams, includes a new game mode and improved graphics.
For anyone who’s unfamiliar with the game, Dream League Soccer is a soccer manager with official licenses from the main leagues in the world. You’ll start out your journey with a fictitious team that you can improve as you sign new players. The matches are played like a 3D simulator, offering controls and response that are actually better than the ones from EA and Konami in their respective titles.
In the career mode you’ll find yourself among other teams in lower divisions with a series of objectives to complete that will give you extra coins. These coins will serve, among other things, to sign players or improve your stadium. Beyond that, you can access a multiplayer mode that’s also played by seasons and that will put you against other real players in online matches. The Events mode will have you participate in regional leagues for a limited time, that will also reward you with coins if you end up among the three first positions in your class.
One of the things missing at first is a higher degree of customization for the gear and logos. However, luckily, just like what happened with the classic installments of PES, you can enter your own designs. You can find plenty of presets online for practically any official team you can think of. In the blog, we’ve already explained how to insert your own kits and logos.
